Frequently Asked Questions

How long will the entire process take?
From the time you submit your written and approved narrative to the day you receive your final curated documentary; the process typically takes 8–12 weeks. This ensures the time needed for writing, filming, editing, creating initial draft for your review, final re-edit and final delivery.

How long will the filming take?
The actual shoot will take approximately 4 hours.

Why do I need to write short paragraphs for each chapter of my journey?
Writing short paragraphs helps you capture and fully develop the essential experiences of that particular chapter of your journey. By capturing the essential points of each chapter, you’ll create a strong foundation that will allow your story to flow smoothly, sequentially and capture the full emotional intensity of your challenges and triumphs with honesty, clarity and dignity. The goal is that these chapters will form a sequential foundation, so that when we film for your story, it will be flow as naturally and smoothly as an across the table conversation.

I’m struggling with the short paragraphs.
Trust the process. Start with bullet points. Once you have the basics outlined, it’s easy to expand them into short, meaningful paragraphs. (Insert video drop downs of sample paragraphs)

What if I don’t have many photos or videos?
That’s okay. Many Archons don’t have or just can’t locate old photos. In those cases, we use a combination of stock photography, archival materials, and custom motion graphics to illustrate your journey. We only use those images that will respectfully enhance or strength the dignity of your story.

I’m not comfortable on camera. What if I struggle during filming?
Our interviews are conversational and guided. You will not be asked to “perform.” We create a safe and comfortable space to allow you to speak naturally.  It is just like a Saturday afternoon across the table conversation with an old friend. We take as many breaks as necessary. Editing ensures your voice and message will flow smoothly while remaining clear, strong, and confident.

Can my Archousa or family be included in the filming?
The Un-Erase-Able Project is about YOUR professional journey and capturing YOUR journey to the Boule, so you will be the only one filmed. Many Archons do choose to include photos of their Archousa or other family members. Their photographic presence can add richness, perspective, and emotional depth to the story.

Where will filming take place?
The filming will take place in a local professional studio.

Will my story be private or shared publicly?
The final video belongs to you and your family. It will not be shared publicly without your written consent. Some Archons share their stories while others keep them as private family heirlooms.

What happens if I want to change after the final edit?
Each Archon is offered one round of revisions during the editing stage. Additional edits beyond that are available for an extra fee, but most find their first round of refinements more than sufficient.

Why 30 minutes? Can it be longer or shorter?
Thirty minutes is enough to tell a powerful, meaningful life story without losing the viewer’s attention. If your story requires more time, we can discuss extended versions, but the 30-minute format has proven the most effective.

How will my film be preserved for future generations?
You will receive a 4K master file for archival preservation and a high-definition version for easy sharing. We also recommend secure cloud backup.

What makes this different from hiring a videographer?
This project is not simply about video production—it is a curated historical preservation effort. Every detail, from the narrative writing to editing style, is designed to honor Archons’ dignity, excellence, and legacy. It embodies Boule’ Quality.
