Founder, Mottko Productions | Creator, The UN-ERASE-ABLE Project & Gerrel1Button Mini TV Studio
Langston Johnson is a visionary media producer, entrepreneur, and innovator who is transforming how professionals appear in video and virtual spaces. He is the founder of Mottko Productions and the creator of The Un-Erase-Able Project and the Gerrel1Button Mini TV Studio.
Langston’s expertise is grounded in a Film Studies degree from Yale University and an early career behind the camera that began as an intern at NFL Films. On-air personalities used his game film edits to explain the intricacies of how quarterbacks dissect defenses. This experience opened the door to a 10-year stint as an editor/producer at NBC Sports Bay Area. He coordinated the multiple video highlight presentations during the 2014 Giants World Series parade and the 2015 Warriors NBA Championship parade, while leading a Virtual Reality/360 Video initiative to produce content for San Jose Earthquakes games and the 2018 Warriors NBA Championship parade. At NBC Sports, he edited “Pregame Live” for A’s and Giants games and produced content for NBC’s Instagram audience of over 200,000 daily followers. He also edited and produced many of the iconic “live action video replays” of Steph Curry’s magical 3-point baskets that appeared on the screen right before the break for a TV commercial.

His athletic accomplishments as a 1st Team All-Ivy Tight End at Yale led to invites by both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Francisco 49ers for workouts and mini-camps, giving him instant “street-credibility” when working with professionals in sports. Langston has directed both athletes and analysts—Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Jimmy Garoppolo, Richard Sherman, and Derek Carr—and NBC Sports personalities including Greg Papa, Ray Ratto, and Matt Maiocco. His storytelling talent, technical precision, and deep respect for the power of visual presence drive his mission: capture a person’s true emotional character, while helping them look and sound their best when it matters most.
Origin of The Un-Erase-Able Project
Mottko Production was honored to produce the Origins video for Gamma Chi Boule’, celebrating the fraternity’s founding members. The project was created to ensure the foundation and legacy of these founders would be known and preserved for current and future members, making them truly Un-Erase-Able.
Langston served as the Producer and Director of the Origins Project. He conducted in-depth video interviews with the surviving founders, beginning with founding Sire Archon Bob Bowman, to bring this vision to life. The founders wanted their legacy shared, remembered, and preserved in their own words, safeguarded through powerful visual storytelling for generations to come.
Countless hours were spent recording interviews and documenting the founders’ journey to the Boule. Over 100 hours was spent editing and crafting the final video. Through this process, Langston recognized the importance of creating an oral and visual legacy for every Archon, not just the founders.
With the Archons still able to share their intimate professional stories—including the challenges, roadblocks, and victories—the project captured their strength, intelligence, perseverance, dignity, and faith. Though their paths were far from smooth, they achieved extraordinary professional success.
When the Origins project was completed and presented to the Gamma Chi membership, it received a standing ovation. Inspired by this response, Langston recognized the need to preserve every Archon’s remarkable journey, so their stories remain Un-Erase-Able for generations to come.
